The Ocarina is a small ceramic flute which produces a clear pure tone. Ocarinas originated
from the Middle and the Far East, Central and South America. They have since been developed
throughout the world and used mainly to play folk music. There are two different kinds of
Ocarinas. One is with full chromatic scale and the other one is with sixtone scale (it is
easier to learn) and halfnotes. For each kind we have songbooks with instructions so you can
learn it by your own. They are made in many sizes and pitches ranging from the tiny piccolo
to the huge bass. These Ocarinas are easy to play, quality musical instruments, suitable for
beginners and professional musicians alike. They can be played solo, in ocarina ensembles
and with other musical instruments together. Our unique animal ocarinas are available with
full seven hole scale, or simple 4 hole pentatonic scale. They are especially popular for
children. Each instrument is hand made and electronically tuned.
